Exciting opportunities to join our drive for a greener future
We have a number of exciting opportunities to play a vital role in our drive to lead the UK’s transition to low carbon heating solutions.
As we continue to invest in ramping up the development, production and distribution of heat pumps, we’re expanding the Ideal Heating research and development teams.
We have four roles available, including Development Engineer roles in our heat pump and combustion teams, as well as Development Manager and Lead Development Engineer roles in our heat pump team.
We’re looking for team players with excellent communication skills who have a can-do attitude and work well under pressure.
As well as having relevant technical qualifications and experience, we’re looking for candidates who have a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving products and technologies.
Miriam Moore, our HR Manager, said: “These roles will play a key part in product road-mapping as we continue to make progress in our mission to develop low carbon heating solutions.
“The successful candidates will be involved with the development of existing and future products, so it’s a really exciting time to join the team and be part of the business at such a pivotal time.
“Those who join our heat pumps team will also be some of the first team members to work in our state-of-the-art UK Technology Centre, which is currently under construction at our Hull site.”
We’ve partnered with recruitment specialist Emmerson Kitney to identify and connect with top talent who would be suitable for these roles.
David Kitney, Managing Director of Emmerson Kitney, said: “It’s great to be the go-to partner of choice for Ideal Heating when they look to strengthen their R&D function with high-calibre engineering talent.
“Over the years Emmerson Kitney has built up a great relationship with Ideal and we understand of the skills, personality and cultural fit Ideal requires.
“We have also been very successful attracting key engineering talent and skills into the region, helping Ideal recruit and relocate candidates from further afield in the UK.
“This also supports the wider Humber region agenda in attracting much-needed skills for the engineering and renewables sectors.”
