Ideal Heating Celebrates Double Victory at the Hey! Business Awards 2024

We’re delighted to announce that Ideal Heating has been honoured with two awards at the inaugural Hull and East Yorkshire (HEY) Business Awards.

We were named Large Business of the Year and also won the Environmental & Sustainability Award at the event, which recognises excellence, innovation, and outstanding achievement across the region’s business community.

The Environmental & Sustainability Award celebrates the significant investments we’re making in low-carbon heating solutions, including heat pumps.

Our £60m investment programme is transforming our Hull facilities with expanded production and logistics capabilities, as well as a cutting-edge research and development centre.

We’re proud to be at the forefront of the transition to greener heating technologies.

The Large Business of the Year award highlights our position as a market leader in both the domestic heating and commercial markets. This success is built on our commitment to excellence in product development and manufacturing.

The judges also praised our dedication to staff training, career development opportunities, employee welfare, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

We received the two awards on the same day that we welcomed Miatta Fahnbulleh, Minster for Energy Consumers, to both our headquarters on National Avenue and our Training and Technology Centre at Bridgehead Business Park. The visit coincided with the government funding we have received to help accelerate our heat pump production.

These awards are a fantastic recognition of the hard work and dedication of our entire team.
