Installer Show Day Three Blog Header

Reflections on an action-packed InstallerSHOW!

Installer Blogs27 June 2024

Our beer taps have run dry, we’re all out of Oddballs pants, and Boiler Man needs a well-earned nap after countless laps of the NEC.

It must mean it’s the end of another InstallerSHOW!

We’ve had three hectic but brilliant days in Birmingham, showcasing everything we offer to the UK heating industry.

Our stand has been bustling from start to finish. Just ask our bar team!

We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who visited us this week at InstallerSHOW.

Whether you came to find out about our market-leading products, our Expert Academy training or how to secure a place on our Premier Club 2026 trip, we’ve loved catching up with all of you!

We were also delighted to welcome Andy’s Man Club to our stand for the very first time, as part of our partnership spreading the word to installers that “it’s okay to talk”.

We were joined at InstallerSHOW by Lucas Whitehead and Lee Barnes from the charity, who shared the vital role Andy’s Man Club plays in providing a space for men to speak out about how they are feeling.

Lucas said: “We’ve had some really powerful conversations here at InstallerSHOW. We’re trying to break down the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and we’re doing a good job of it.

“One of the most beautiful things about InstallerSHOW is we’ve had people approach us to tell us they have used Andy’s Man Club, or know people who have attended our sessions.

“The word is getting out there and events like InstallerSHOW are helping that. Thank you to Ideal for their hospitality, and for their support in helping us achieve our aim.”

There was so much to see and do at our Ideal stand at InstallerSHOW.

Did you spot our Premier Club cabin crew? They were out and about across the exhibition, sharing details on our 2026 trip and how to enroll and earn installer points to bag a seat on the plane.

Also making a fond return to InstallerSHOW was Boiler Man!

Our popular mascot entertained visitors to our stand and posed for more photos than we can remember. It’s a good job he’s not camera shy!

As quickly as InstallerSHOW 2024 came around, it’s all over again.

All that’s left is for us is to say a huge thank you to the organisers for making this event such a success. It’s a showcase of our wonderful industry and a celebration of the talented people we have working within it.
