    We deliver the knowledge and theory mostly simple and highly practical hand-on exercises and demonstration techniques.

    We promise to demystify and simplify electrics for you to provide practical and useful techniques you can easily use in your day to day work – both to keep you safe and enhance your fault finding and diagnostic techniques.

    We also provide you the knowledge and process to complete safe electrical isolation to industry standards and guidance.

    The safe isolation aspect of the course is certified against BPEC requirements following successful completion of a knowledge test and practical assessment.

    You will be required to bring 2 x passport photos and your national insurance number.

    A comprehensive 1-day course to provide foundation under-pinning knowledge to wire, test and fault find. We simplify the commonly used wiring and control applications for combination boilers and system boilers on Y & S plan, S Plan Plus configurations.

    You must be confident in basic electrics and safe isolation to attend this 1-day course – please attend our Basic Electrics and Safe Isolation course, or an alternate course, to achieve this before attending. Without this understanding the course is unsuitable.

    After quick introductions, this jam-packed day will guide and challenge to begin wiring your own heating system straight away following a range or wiring and functional flow diagrams.

    Testing and safety checking will be demonstrated and checked as you progress and as your knowledge and confidence builds you will be leading yourself to diagnose faults, convert system configurations and change components with confidence.

    You should be leaving us exhausted but delighted with the confidence and knowledge you gain.

    Following attendance and successful completion, practical exercises a certificate of achievement will be provided.

    1-day course. WRAS training covers the Water Regulations (1999) and is a necessary requirement for qualified plumbers (minimum Level 2) looking to join their local water authorities Water Industry Approved Plumber Scheme, one of the plumbing competent person schemes (CPS) and Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) registration bodies.
