Ideal Darts Throwdown Event Terms & Conditions
Event Period: 15 September 2026 to 26 November 2026
1. Event Eligibility
1.1. The Ideal Darts Throwdown is open to eligible heating installers attending participating Ideal Heating events during the Event Period.
1.2. The event is open to participants in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, subject to any event-specific eligibility requirements.
1.3. Participants must attend the relevant event in person to take part in the Darts Throwdown and/or Boiler Strip Down Challenge.
1.4. Participants who are not already registered with Connect may sign up during an eligible event and may qualify for the applicable Connect New Member Offer, subject to the relevant offer Terms & Conditions and eligibility criteria.
2. Darts Throwdown Scoring
2.1. Points will be awarded based on participants' finishing position in the Darts Throwdown at each participating event.
2.2. The participant finishing in 1st place will receive 30 points, with one point deducted for each subsequent position:
1st place – 30 points
2nd place – 29 points
3rd place – 28 points
4th place – 27 points
And so on, with 1 point awarded to the final eligible position.
2.3. Points awarded at each event will contribute towards the participant's overall score for the Event Period.
3. Boiler Strip Down Challenge Scoring
3.1. Points will be awarded based on participants' finishing position in the Boiler Strip Down Challenge, determined by their recorded eligible completion time.
3.2. The participant recording the fastest eligible time will receive 30 points, with one point deducted for each subsequent position:
1st place – 30 points
2nd place – 29 points
3rd place – 28 points
4th place – 27 points
And so on, with 1 point awarded to the final eligible position.
3.3. A participant's overall score will be calculated by adding together the points they have earned from the Darts Throwdown and Boiler Strip Down Challenge during the Event Period.
4. Overall National Winner
4.1. The participant with the highest overall score at the end of the Event Period will be named the Ideal Darts Throwdown National Winner.
4.2. The National Winner will receive one ticket to a suitable event at Alexandra Palace (Ally Pally), subject to ticket availability.
4.3. The prize is subject to availability and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4.4. If a suitable Alexandra Palace ticket is unavailable, Ideal Heating reserves the right to provide a suitable alternative prize of comparable value.
4.5. No cash alternative will be offered.
4.6. In the event of a tie for the highest overall score, Ideal Heating reserves the right to apply an appropriate tie-break mechanism.
5. Connect Rewards for Event Attendees
5.1. Connect rewards available to event attendees will depend on the participant's Connect status at the time of attending the event.
5.2. For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:
An Active Connect Member is an installer who has registered an eligible boiler, heat pump or cylinder through Connect within the 364 days immediately preceding the event.
An Inactive Connect Member is an installer who is already registered with Connect but has not registered an eligible boiler, heat pump or cylinder through Connect for 365 days or more.
Installers who are not already registered with Connect are not considered Inactive Connect Members and will instead be subject to the New Connect Member Offer set out below.
Active Connect Members
5.3. Existing Active Connect Members who participate in an eligible event will receive double Connect points on their next eligible Logic MAX or Vogue MAX boiler registration, subject to the applicable promotion Terms & Conditions.
5.4. This offer is available on the individual business profile until 31 December 2026. The eligible Logic MAX or Vogue MAX boiler registration must be made on or before this date.
Inactive Connect Members
5.5. Existing Inactive Connect Members who attend an eligible event may qualify for:
£100 in Connect points for their first eligible Logic MAX or Vogue MAX boiler registration
£100 in Connect points for their second eligible Logic MAX or Vogue MAX boiler registration
£100 in Connect points for their third eligible Logic MAX or Vogue MAX boiler registration
5.6. This offer is available on the individual business profile until 31 December 2026.
5.7. Each eligible Logic MAX or Vogue MAX boiler registration must be made on or before 31 December 2026 to qualify for the applicable reward.
5.8. Each registration must meet the applicable eligibility criteria and any other requirements for the reward to be awarded. New Connect Members
5.9. Installers who are not already registered with Connect and sign up at an eligible event may qualify for the current Connect New Member Offer:
£150 in Connect points for the first eligible registration
£100 in Connect points for the second eligible Logic MAX or Vogue MAX boiler registration
£50 in Connect points for the third eligible Logic MAX or Vogue MAX boiler registration
5.10. The New Connect Member Offer gives the installer 12 weeks from the date of joining Connect to complete the required registrations, or until 31 December 2026, whichever occurs first.
5.11. All registrations must meet the applicable eligibility criteria and any other requirements set out in the New Connect Member Offer Terms & Conditions.

6. General
6.1. The event runs from 15 September 2026 until 26 November 2026, inclusive.
6.2. Only eligible participants, registrations, challenge results and scores will count towards the competition and associated Connect rewards.
6.3. Ideal Heating reserves the right to verify participant eligibility, challenge results, scores and registrations.
6.4. Ideal Heating reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the event, prize or associated rewards where reasonably necessary.
6.5. Ideal Heating's decision regarding the administration of the event, scoring and winner selection shall be final.
6.6. Any points awarded through the Darts Throwdown are separate from standard Connect Passport Points unless specifically stated otherwise.
6.7. Participation in the event constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and any applicable Connect promotion Terms & Conditions.
