Evomax 2 Boiler Troubleshooting Manual
HomeTips And AdviceWhere To Find Your Boiler Model Name & Serial Number

Where to Find Your Boiler Model Name & Serial Number

Most domestic gas boilers will have a data plate or sticker with your serial number.

Here’s where to look: (Only Gas Safe Certified Engineers should remove the front Casing of the boiler).

1. On the Boiler Casing

Check the front panel, on the top, or underside of the boiler, usually the bottom left. You may need to open a panel to reveal this.

Look for a label that includes the model name, serial number.

2. On the User Manual

If you still have the original instruction manual, the boiler model will be listed on the front cover or within the first few pages.

Why do you need your boiler’s serial number?

Having your model name and serial number ready is the fastest way to get the help you need. You will typically be asked for these details when:

  • Booking a Boiler Service: To ensure the engineer brings the correct tools and parts.

  • Registering Your Warranty: To protect your investment and gain peace of mind for years to come.

  • Replacing Your Boiler: If your unit is older, your serial number helps an installer understand your current setup.

Find Your Next Ideal Solution

If you have found your serial number but realise your boiler is over 10-15 years old, it may be time to consider upgrading to a more energy-efficient model.
